Reading is an intricate part of the hobby, just as important as Live Rock or Lighting.
You should try reading as much about the hobby before you jump in to the actual tank. The same goes for purchasing animals. One should read as much possible about a particular specimen before purchasing it.
Reading will decrease mortality rate, hours of frustration, and credit card bill!!!
There are three categories in this page.
- Books - a list of all the books that I own and have read.
- Magazines - a list of all the magazines that I receive on a regular basis.
- Websites - a list of website that I frequent and that I consider rich in content.
- Articles - a list of published articles that are very helpful.
Please, take a look at them. Purchase the books, subscribe to the magazines, or just frequent the websites but please read as much as you can about the hobby. It can only benefit you! |

Always ask questions. Email people and ask them about their experiences. People in the hobby are always willing to help you and unlike Local Fish Stores (LFS), they have nothing to gain by helping you.
